Principal

Chris is a landscape architect in OHM Advisors’ Detroit office with a passion for design excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. From concept to construction, he has extensive experience on project types that span the built environment, including neighborhood and corridor plans, urban design, streetscapes and plazas, trails and greenways, parks and open spaces, campus design and green stormwater infrastructure. He specializes in urban design and land-based strategies for building community value.

Chris brings a creative and robust approach to the OHM Advisors team. His expertise lies in fostering collaboration across disciplines to deliver innovative and impactful design and engineering solutions, while integrating emerging best-practices into his work. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Chris was a member of the team who received a national ASLA award for the “Field Guide to Working with Lots”, a Detroit-specific playbook that supported community stewardship of vacant land.

A professionally licensed landscape architect with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Iowa State University, Chris is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU).
