GIS Manager

Based in Nashville, Helen serves as the primary GIS expert for the firm’s regional offices in Nashville, Knoxville and Louisville. She is responsible for providing GIS technical expertise to specific projects and disciplines, including data collection preparation, processing and sharing.

Helen has worked with communities, state organizations and private firms across Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee on a variety of projects centered around cadastral mapping, planning, business and economic development and utility asset management. She works directly with community leaders and staff to bring them up to speed on the latest in GIS technologies and tailor systems to fit unique needs, helping increase their overall understanding and therefore the usefulness of their systems.

Helen holds a master’s degree in environmental science and public affairs from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in geosciences and environmental policy from the University of Tulsa. She is a member of the Tennessee Geographic Information Council and is experienced in using a variety of software and related tools including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, LiDAR, Magnet Collage, Experience Builder and Web App Builder.
