Join speaker Susan Knepper and the world's water professionals for four days of sharing ideas for protecting our collective water resources

On June 11-14, 2023, an estimated 10,000 attendees will gather in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the highly anticipated ACE23. Sponsored by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Ontario Chapter of AWWA, this event showcases innovation, technologies, and ideas for protecting the world's water resources.

Helping to kick off Tuesday's hybrid/virtual track, OHM Advisors Engineer Susan Knepper will present one of three 20-minute professional sessions addressing some of the risks keeping utility managers up at night, including cybersecurity, emergency response strategies, and supply chain disruptions. Lessons learned and ideas for assessing and managing these situations will be shared with audience members.

An Innovative Approach to Water System Emergency Response Planning
Service disruptions can cause chaos for water system operators, administrators, and residents. This presentation explores how an innovative emergency response plan tool helped one community go above and beyond the 2018 America's Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) requirement to complete an enhanced emergency response plan. The unprecedented tool, developed by OHM Advisors using their hydraulic model and ArcGIS Dashboards, provides details and instructions for numerous failure scenarios and can grow with the City in the future.
