Zach Ausmus, GISP, is a GIS Project Manager in the firm’s Knoxville office. He provides technical expertise for projects involving data management, utility network modeling, asset management, application development, and GIS training. His experience with federal and state agencies, communities, and public utilities spans projects of various scales and complexity, focusing on water, sewer, gas, telecommunications, and transportation networks. 

Zach is a trusted advisor with knowledge of industry guidelines and best practices. He collaborates with his team, partners, and clients to implement GIS solutions that improve workflows, ensure data accuracy, and support long-term planning. He excels at designing spatial data models, leading field data collection initiatives, and integrating GIS with enterprise systems to optimize operational efficiency. He has extensive experience working with Esri platforms—including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Portal, and Experience Builder— and can tailor solutions to meet the needs of each client.
