Stacey Tobar, RLA, ASLA, is a landscape architect and urban designer who is passionate about creating memorable, people-centric outdoor spaces – especially in the urban fabric. Over the course of her 30-year career, she has worked on a range of projects, including urban parks and plazas, downtown streetscapes, higher education and corporate campuses, and multi-acre parks. Stacey is a strong collaborator who can design across curriculums and generate ideas and solutions quickly. She believes discovery is foundational to the design process and she strives to respect the context, culture, and history of a place and its people throughout her work, while never losing sight of her clients’ operational goals, environmental priorities, and financial realities.

Stacey holds a master’s degree in urban planning from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University.
