Wendling Joins OHM Advisors as Technical Leader
OHM Advisors welcomes Matt Wendling, PE, Practice Leader, Transportation
OHM Advisors is pleased to announce the hiring of Matt Wendling, PE, as Practice Leader, Transportation. A technical expert in his field, Matt brings more than 20 years of transportation engineering experience to ensure that current and future clients consistently experience the award-winning service excellence and dedication to Advancing Communities our firm is known and respected for.
With large-scale engineering, transportation planning, and transit project experience working with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), cities and other agencies statewide, Matt fills a unique role at OHM Advisors. As a transportation practice leader, he will help to diversify and grow our transportation planning and transit-related services while providing technical expertise to our multidisciplinary staff.
Matt brings a balance of engineering judgment and planning foresight informed by infrastructure realities to support long and short-range transportation strategies, corridor plans, multimodal alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for various clients.
He was responsible for delivering Michigan's first project to follow the FHWA’s Planning and Environmental Linkages process. This project won the 2014 ACEC/MDOT Partnership Award for outstanding efforts toward inclusivity and team building.
