North High Street Apartments

OHM Advisors’ design team developed this concept to meet both the expectations of the client and the expectations for redevelopment in the area. A difficult urban-infill project with many site constraints, the design allows for commercial space and resident entrance along High Street, with private parking and loading located below the back portion of the building. The upper five stories are dedicated to residents with a mix of unit types and amenity spaces. The exterior design was imagined as two separate masses floating above a continuous commercial block, intended to reflect the history and context of the area. The brick respects the context of the area while the metal panels and glass soften and freshen the overall aesthetic.
