2022 AWWA MI Water Solutions Webinar

February 17, 2022

Webinar hosted by AWWA Michigan Section

Join us as we dive into the US EPA’s 5th Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR) and its impacts on smaller water systems across the nation

Beginning in 2023, the EPA will require small water systems to begin sampling for Per and Poly-fluoro alkyl substances (PFAS) and Lithium under the 5th Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR). This new ruling will provide important data that will help EPA to prioritize the protection of disadvantaged communities. Find out what this means for smaller water systems by registering for this webinar featuring OHM Advisors' Emerging Contaminants Practice Leader Karlin Danielsen, Ph.D., industry experts from the City of Wyoming, and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE).

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the requirements of the new rule as it relates to logistics, financial responsibility, and the overlap between EPA and EGLE sampling requirements. Immediately following the presentation, a representative from EGLE will be available for Q&A. Don’t miss out!
