The Michigan-based Borchardt Conference is a triennial event co-sponsored by MWEA, AWWA, EGLE and the University of Michigan. Learn about the latest happenings in water and wastewater technology with other engineers, scientists, public health specialists and students, with emphasis on applied research and real life experience. This conference features keynote speakers Dr. Michèle Prévost, NSERC Industrial Chair on Drinking Water and Dr. Charles Bott, HRSD Director of Water Technology and Research.

Session Title: Use of Artificial Intelligence in Infrastructure Asset Management
Our industry has become too familiar with numerous reports from a variety of reputable agencies that collectively conclude with an important message: our assets are aging and the funding gap between what is needed and what is available is growing. This presentation aims to find an answer to the following question: can advanced technology help small and medium sized communities address their infrastructure challenges in a cost effective and timely manner?
