Spring and Long Street Conversion Honored by American Society of Highway Engineers

Bike lanes are included in the ASHE-honored downtown street conversion project.

Spring and Long Streets Multimodal Conversion wins Project of the Year

Our Columbus Engineering team was recently honored by the American Society of Highway Engineers for our Spring and Long Streets Multimodal Conversion as Project of the Year.

This project brought 2.3 miles of safe east-west bicycle lanes to Spring and Long Streets.  They are the first bike lanes in downtown Columbus that connect to the Scioto Greenways Trail, North Bank Park and the Arena District on the west side of downtown with the historic King-Lincoln District and Discovery District on the east side.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this project.
