Vicki Putala, PE, Director, Environmental Water Resources Group  

Vicki says that water is her passion – meaning, she is passionate about the benefits of a well-run, equitable water system can have on people. As director of our Environmental Water Resources Group, she is responsible for overall client satisfaction and quality of work.

With nearly three decades of experience, Vicki serves as our go-to expert on drinking water system master planning, and water and wastewater treatment. She embodies the trusted advisor role, adeptly understanding client and public needs. Her projects have won several awards from industry organizations, including the American Public Works Association (APWA) and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Project Spotlight

Farmington Hills, MI elevated water storage tank featured Drinking Water Systems projectElevated Water Storage Tank and Water System Improvements | Farmington Hills, MI

As part of a water system sustainability plan study, OHM Advisors projected that the City of Farmington Hills, MI could save approximately $3.5 million annually by reducing peak water system demand by installing a 3.0 MG elevated storage tank. Our team assisted in fast-track design services to make the project bid-ready within three months of project initiation. At time of design, this was the largest composite tank in the United States. A second phase of the project included the design and construction of several new control valves, SCADA and necessary water main to connect the tank to the rest of the water system.
