Our Survey Group combines skilled professionals and the latest equipment to perform accurate surveying for all our clients. OHM’s multiple survey crews provide:

  • Topographic, right-of-way, boundary and geodetic control surveys
  • Road Design Surveys
  • Bridge Surveys
  • Hydraulic Surveys
  • Construction staking
  • Global positioning System (GPS) Surveys

Equipment:  Better, Faster and More Efficient

We have eight Survey Total Stations: four Trimble 5600s, and three Geodimeter 600s. Our electronic total stations are classified to perform first order work by the National Geodetic Survey.

Crews are equipped with data collectors (Ranger 200T) and Laptop computers.

OHM also has four Survey Grade Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and three Geographic Information System (GIS) Grade Receivers.

OHM owns ASHTECH Real Time GPS receivers and post-processing software for centimeter accuracy.

OHM has a trained staff of professionals who can provide right-of-way services for our clients. These services include:

Pavement Management System Runway Rehabilitation

OHM's Survey crews performed 2.5 miles of topographic survey for geotechnical investigations and design support for Wayne County Airport.
