Tom leads the firm’s Akron office, responsible for strategic growth objectives in the area and management of office operations. His focus is the successful completion of projects and overall client satisfaction for the firm’s clients in that region. Both a professional engineer and professional surveyor with nearly 40 years of experience working for both local municipalities and consulting firms, Tom came to OHM Advisors in 2017 from the position of City Engineer and Engineering Services Manager for the City of Wadsworth, Ohio.

Tom’s deep career experience is as a talented engineer, big-picture thinker and relationship builder. He has managed myriad municipal capital improvement projects; created important and defining municipal programs, policies and regulations; and been directly involved in the expansion of many large retail, industrial, commercial and institutional developments. Tom has served clients as project manager, design engineer, compliance reviewer, construction manager, and site engineer across all phases of development from conceptual planning to final tracings—combined experience which helps him understand and properly advise stakeholders and members of the community.
