Engineering, Inc. Magazine recently did a story on changing workforce dynamics in the AEC industry. With Baby Boomers transitioning to retirement and Millennials (born in the 80s and 90s) moving into the mainstream workforce, companies like OHM Advisors are looking to better understand and engage this generation and their unique skills. Five young engineers, including our own Taryn Juidici, were interviewed about what they do and what makes them tick.
Taryn talks about everything from her engineering heritage (her maternal grandmother was recruited into her university’s engineering program during WW II), her generation’s expectations and frustration about career advancement and the importance of work-life balance.
