2018 MDOT / ACEC Partnering Workshop & Reception

February 1, 2018 - February 1, 2018

Lansing Center | 333 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48933

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Michigan and Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) again host their acclaimed Partnering Workshop.

Last year’s workshop drew record attendance of nearly 600 attendees from engineering firms and MDOT. This year’s Workshop is shaping up for similar success.

The Workshop provides the ideal venue for technical information sharing, communicating new policies and procedures, and endless networking. MDOT Director Kirk Steudle will kick off the event at 8:00 a.m.

OHMer Craig Dashner, principal and construction manager, will present alongside MDOT’s Kelly Crannell:

‘Construction Oversight Alignment on Local Agency Projects’
In fall 2017, MDOT’s Local Agency Construction area solicited feedback from local agency program participants regarding MDOT’s construction oversight activities. This session will explore survey findings, identify MDOT’s programmatic alignment endeavors, and seek to clarify roles and responsibilities so local agencies, consultants, MDOT, and FHWA can successfully partner to deliver the best in local agency projects.
