UAVs for the Masses
A discussion by Ray Lillibridge, Survey Technical Specialist, will cover UAVs from their creation to current technology. Ray will also cover initial uses of UAVs, current and proposed legislation, as well as the FAA’s Part 107 requirements.
The bulk of this discussion will detail actual projects and case studies. In this area, the discussions will address the different methodology used for flights, the many different software packages for processing data, including DatuSurvey and Drone2Map, and a review of the results of the flights.
Ray will address upcoming technology and future uses – including a Q&A session.
